Over the years the business expanded into a multi-state corporation. He married Fanny Teplansky in 1916, and in 1940 they moved to Cleveland. Luntz served as president of the Temple-Tifereth Israel in Cleveland from 1950-1960, and supported a wide assortment of civic, cultural, medical, religious, and benevolent groups in Canton and in Cleveland. After serving in the United States Army Air Force during World War II, Palermo attended the Case Institute of Technology, graduating in 1949 with a degree in electrical engineering. He worked for the Picker X-Ray Corporation, developing x-ray and CAT scan systems. Palermo had an avid interest in local history, and he founded the South Euclid Historical Society and wrote the history of St. Gregory the Great Church (now known as Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish). Maresh. His piano store on East 55th Street became the Republican political headquarters for Cleveland's southeast side, and in 1913, Maresh and his associates helped launch the political candidacy of Harry L. Davis for mayor. Maresh retired from the piano business in 1937, but actively pursued his hobby of collecting Lincoln memorabilia, building one of the largest private collections of Lincoln documents and lecturing on Lincoln lore to various groups. Became involved in the Western Reserve real estate market prior to his death in 1852. Adams' second son, Comfort Avery Adams, born in 1816 in Warren, Ohio, succeeded Asael as proprietor of the general store until after 1852. He then was successively a postmaster, tax collector, newspaper editor, and then started a clothing manufacturing business in Cleveland. He died in 1901, and is buried in Lakeview Cemetary.
